What is a Care Circle?

A Care Circle is your private group for coordinating care for one (or more) loved ones. You invite family members with a code, and everyone in the circle shares the same medications, tasks, appointments, documents, and notes. Information is never shared outside your circle.

How do I invite family members?

Open the More tab, tap your circle, and share the invite code shown there. A family member enters that code during sign-up (or from Onboarding → "Join with an invite code") to join your circle.

How do I add a medication and mark a dose as taken?

Go to the Medications tab, tap +, and enter the name, dosage, and schedule. On the medication's card, tap Mark as Taken to log the dose with a timestamp the whole circle can see.

Can I care for more than one person?

Yes. Add additional care recipients under More → Care Recipients, then switch who you're focused on from the greeting on the Home tab. Medications, the health log, and the doctor-visit summary follow the recipient you've selected.

Does CareCove work offline?

Yes. Your saved information is always available, and you can keep adding medications logged as taken, tasks, appointments, and health entries while offline — they sync automatically as soon as you reconnect.

Is my family's information private?

Yes. Each Care Circle is invite-only, and access is enforced at the database level, not just in the app — so only the people you invite can see your circle's data. We don't sell your information or show ads. See our Privacy Policy.

How do I reset my password or change my notifications?

On the sign-in screen, use the email/password fields or Sign in with Apple. To change notification permissions, open your device's Settings → Notifications → CareCove. For a password reset, email us and we'll help.

How do I delete my data or my account?

You can delete individual items (medications, tasks, documents, etc.) directly in the app. To delete your entire account and associated data, email carecovefamily@gmail.com from your account's email address and we'll process it.

Is CareCove a medical app?

No. CareCove is a coordination and record-keeping tool to help families stay organized. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Always follow the guidance of qualified healthcare professionals, and in an emergency call your local emergency number.
